Vulnerable and Immortal

Opening my soul  to the pathways of emotion

Here lies my soul that waits for the water
to tumble down and wash away the soil

here lies the sand dunes of my inner core...




Let me hand out my heart again to be purged
let my shield be torn and broken
let the spoils of war take over it

because i now understand
that a life of turning back...is not a life...


My soul wants to go back to the state of vulnerability
for that is the only way to be immortal

Here is my heart in its purest state

Open with all the intensity of the earth

For the longest time the heart wanted to seek the help of all of the ancient knowledge within
and after traveling to distant places and using all of the weapons I had in my robe
 the secret scrolls simply whispered in the gush of the wind
To let go of the resistance...
